We gather to share a passion for literature of diverse experience, history, and storytelling. We focus each meeting on a selected book. Each of us contributes insights, observations, and criticisms, as well as camaraderie, food and good cheer. We journey together — destination unknown.
The original North and South River Watershed Association (NSRWA) book club was founded by Kezia Bacon as the River Lovers’ Book Club. Its first meeting was October 6, 1996 at the NSRWA office in Norwell, MA. Our book club evolved from there. We now meet in members’ homes for socializing, tapas-style potluck, and intense discussion.
